Our principal venue is Otford Memorial Hall, 28A High Street, Otford, Sevenoaks, Kent, TN14 5PQ. However, other venues will be used from time to time, the venue is always noted on the website and on the tickets, so please be sure to know which venue you are heading to. A list of other venue addresses is given below.

 

Getting To Otford

By train:  Otford has its own rail station with links to London and many points in the South East region, please consult Network Rail timetables for full details. The station is a five minute walk from the venue.

By bus:  A number of bus lines run through Otford, the majority of which are operated by Go-Coach Hire. Please consult their website for further details.

By car:  Otford is situated on the A 225 which runs from Dartford to Sevenoaks. The nearest M25 access is via the Sevenoaks junction which is a few minutes drive from the venue.

 

Otford Parking

The High Street car park in Otford is right outside the venue and has sufficient capacity for 110 vehicles, with specified disabled bays and two electric vehicle charging points. Parking in certain sections of the High Street is also permitted.

There are a number of car parks in Cranbrook, all of which are in easy walking distance of the two venues. In all of them, parking is free at all times.

 

 

GENERAL

 

Opening Hours

Unless otherwise specified, at all our venues doors will open at 7.00 pm and the live music will start at 7.30 pm.  We aim to be finished around 10.15 - 10.30 pm.

 

Venue Accessibility

We’re committed to making all aspects of your visit to St Edith Folk enjoyable, universally welcoming and physically accessible. At Otford, the main entrance to the venue is flat, step-free access entirely suitable for wheelchair users and those otherwise not able to manage slopes or steps. Other venues will have different arrangements, if this is a consideration please check with us when booking.

 

Bar

At all our venues, the bar will open at the same time as doors are opened.  We are often able to open doors in advance of the specified time so, to be sure of your seats, and to put you in the right mood, why not join us for a beer or two before the show. The bar will close approximately 15 minutes after the end of the performance.

 

Seating

Seating is either cabaret style, theatre style, or a combination of both, depending on the venue, the artist playing and the attendance. Seats are unreserved, so arrive early if you want the best seats.

 

Wheelchair spaces

Should you require space for a wheelchair, please let us know in advance and we will be sure to arrange a suitable space for you.
