St Edith Folk is currently closed

Following the latest advice from the Government, it is with much regret that St Edith Folk has taken the decision to close all of its venues with immediate effect. To close down like this was a poignant moment for us all. We are still coming to terms with what this means for us as a team, and as a place that welcomes visitors and artists from all over. However, the health and wellbeing of our team, artists and visitors is our top priority and given the latest medical and scientific recommendations that people should avoid large social gatherings, we have made the very difficult decision to take this action in order to play our part in stopping the spread of the virus.

All events taking place until 30 October 2020 have now been cancelled or postponed. In this fast-moving situation, we are only able to plan with confidence a few weeks ahead. We will remain closed as long as we need to and will regularly monitor and update our decision in light of government and Public Health England advice.

We feel very much not only for our own team and visitors but for all those artists who were looking forward to bringing their shows here to entertain you. Once the current crisis is behind us, we are hoping to enable as many of them as possible to reschedule for a later date.

Our thoughts are with everyone who is being affected by this situation and we pass on our very best wishes to all of you and your loved ones.

We’ll be back as soon as we can and are already looking forward to the moment we can reopen our doors.

Take care. We hope to see you soon.
